Books, Books, Books

It is recommended that in order to write well you need to

read, read and read more. What books inspire you? What genres do you enjoy? Sometimes you can be blown away by an author that you don't know... here's one new author that particularly stood out for me this month and one poet and her new collection...click on the books to purchase.

What People Say

"The variety of topics - even poetry I am starting to appreciate now - the other class mates, we got on so well and the fact that I now write almost daily, taking my A5 notebook with me everywhere. Thank You!"

"It has given me the courage to try and write short stories. It was great to have limited time in which you had to come up with the goods".

M Smith

"The course content was well thought out, planned and presented. It was pitched at the right level and was very interesting. I didn't want it to end!”

L McG

"A safe place, no judgement, meeting new people and Donna too. I never really had tried writing before and I would like to continue and build on what I have learned. I honestly loved it"

C Black

"I feel like I have developed as a writer and more importantly it has been a massive outlet for stress. It's been so lovely, relaxed and supportive I just didn't want it to end!”

Running in 6 week blocks this is an opportunity to learn writing techniques in a fun, informative, collaborative way.

Get a taste and time to try a variety of different writing whilst appreciating  the art of published writers.

Watch out for classes in your area or contact me should you have a group that you want me to work with.

Writing for Therapy

Combining years of experience in coaching, utilising NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) this course allows participants to learn new ways to cope with modern day life whilst being in the writing moment. Don't worry about spelling or grammar it is the act of writing that counts and how it can slow or change thoughts in a good way. Contact me for more info and a free introductory session

As for me, my mission is to help others find that creative spirit within themselves. Quite simply if you can solve a problem, you can write. I have written intermittently from an early age, when time allowed, with a demanding career, utilising my creative mind more in the design of creative workshops. In 2020 I completed my Hons Degree in Creative Writing (and asked myself what am I waiting for?) and started the next chapter in my life (excuse the pun!). I absolutely love it!
